Two Alpenglow Painting crew members on a dock at Levette Lake, Whistler
Join the team

Start a rewarding career in the trades.

Hands-on work that challenges you, a crew that’s genuinely fun to be around, a strong culture, and real room to grow long-term.

Why join us

A crew worth being on.

Are you interested in working with a dynamic and fun crew? Do you want to be rewarded for the effort you put in? Do you have a keen attention to detail? We’re looking for hard-working, enthusiastic individuals to join our team.

Positive Work Environment

A good work environment makes all the difference, and we’re all about creating a place where you can do great work and have a good time while doing it — including company appreciation events through the season to celebrate the crew and the wins.

Long Weekend Every Week

Work hard 4 days, then play hard or relax for 3. Our schedule gives you more time to enjoy the Sea to Sky corridor and all the outdoor activities it has to offer.

Performance-Based Pay

We’ve set up a pay system that rewards you for working efficiently and maintaining high-quality standards. Instead of a fixed hourly wage, your earnings are based on your performance.

Bonuses and Incentives

We love rewarding hard work. Stick with us, bring in a new painter or project, or help earn a 5-star review — boom, bonus. Work hard, get paid, simple as that.

Training and Development

We make sure you have the skills to succeed, providing the knowledge and support needed to do quality work. Whether you’re new or experienced, we’ll teach you the techniques and standards to get the job done right.

Safety First

We take safety seriously — because no job is worth getting hurt over. We make sure you’ve got the right training, proper gear, and a team that’s always looking out for each other.

Pay structure

Based on performance.

Performance matters here. Base rates are competitive, and top performers earn more through our bonus structure. We also offer retention bonuses for painters who return for a second season and referral bonuses when you bring in someone good.

$25–28/hr
Junior Painter

Some painting experience or strong willingness to learn. Reliable, shows up, follows direction well.

$28–33/hr
Crew Lead

Experienced painter who can manage a small crew, communicate with clients on-site, and work independently.

$30–40+/hr
Top Performer

Skilled, fast, and consistent. Performance bonuses apply. The ceiling moves with output.

Rates reflect hourly base pay. Bonus potential, retention bonuses, and referral pay are on top of these numbers. We discuss specifics on the call.

What we look for

The traits that actually matter.

Painting skill can be developed. Reliability, attitude, and respect for the work can’t be trained. That’s what we screen for.

  • Shows up on time, every time — without being reminded
  • Takes pride in the work, not just here for the paycheque
  • Communicates clearly when something's wrong
  • Respects our clients' properties the way you'd want someone to respect yours
  • Can work independently and as part of a team
